These Terms & Conditions govern use of shanghaiwelcome.com and bookings made with Shanghai Welcome. By booking a service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
Our services
Shanghai Welcome offers private custom journeys, ready-made Day Tours, cultural experiences and transfer services. Availability is subject to confirmation. We may use qualified local suppliers, guides, drivers and ticketing providers to deliver a booking.
Booking and payment
A booking request is subject to availability and is confirmed after successful payment and our booking confirmation. Prices are shown in USD and payment is processed through PayPal. You are responsible for ensuring that contact details, party details, dates and pickup information are accurate.
Prices
Custom journeys are priced from the selected service, party-size tier, duration and applicable pickup supplement. Ready-made Day Tours use their published per-guest package prices; those package prices are not recalculated as guide or vehicle fees when combined with other items. Admission, meals and other items are included only where the product page or booking summary expressly says so.
Traveller responsibilities
Travellers must hold the passports, visas, tickets, insurance and other documents required for their journey. High-speed rail bookings require passport information for each traveller. Please follow reasonable safety instructions from guides, drivers, venues and local authorities.
Changes and timing
Small on-the-day adjustments may be possible depending on time, traffic, weather, venue access and guide availability. Significant changes, extra time, additional guests or a change in destination may require a revised booking and additional payment. You must advise us promptly if your flight, train or arrival time changes.
Cancellations and refunds
Our cancellation terms are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In brief, free cancellation is available up to 36 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to the policy's details and exceptions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shanghai Welcome is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, delays or changes caused by weather, traffic, venue closures, transport disruption, force majeure or traveller-provided information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
